LISTENING TO SELF

The body has three brains: head, heart, and gut brain. Thoughts are the most common form of self-listening, however, some things we think are not always true. As such, it is important to listen with total body awareness along with intuitions and feelings as a form of listening to self. When we listen with our whole body, we can feel a “yes” or “no”.  Listening with our whole selves helps us make sure our decisions and actions are aligned with our goals and values, as well as our basic human needs.

SELF EVALUATION

When making decisions and taking actions, it’s important to recognize how the decision or action makes you feel. It’s also important to make sure your feelings and thoughts are in alignment. If not, these are the times to evaluate further. Is my thought true? How do I know? What is this feeling?
